Challenge:
Client was pitching a major service deal to 3M at this site visit. Needed to fill a wall with a large support graphic.
Solution: Gotta sticky note?
Rather than create a large graphic listing all the benefits from this service deal, I opted to design large 2 ft square sticky notes. Then I illustrated each benefit of this deal like it was a thumbnail sketch on a sticky note. We had them curled and mounted imperfectly on the wall. 3M loved the creativity of the wall and I’m sure it helped secure the deal.

Challenge:
Client was launching a new Hybrid Backup software feature that protects from data loss.
Solution: Concept is King
Focus an ad campaign addressing the three most common forms of data loss–Water damage, Theft, and Fire. After brainstorming with my team, I came up with the tagline “We’ve got your BackUP” and the concept of absurdly fantastic ways to lose your data–Kracken for water damage, UFO for theft, and a Dragon for fire. I employed an outside agency to have these rendered in 3D and produced. I art directed the illustrations, copy writing and ad design process. The campaign was a major success at product launch and this ad series won an Addy Award.

PRINT AD – NU SKIN

Challenge:
Nu Skin wanted an ad to appeal to a more youthful (age 20-30) target audience.
Solution: Make Nu Skin young again
I came up with this engaging, interactive hashtag concept that would resonate with the younger audience. The headline RED WHITE and NU represents independance and freedom for twenty-somethings to discover this new Nu Skin culture where you can just enjoy their products, or choose to make it your new “social” business. Most importantly, this ad sent the message that This is NOT your Mamas MLM!
